WHO WE ARE
We are called to be an inclusive community of people who love Christ deeply, worship him passionately, and serve him boldly.
WHAT WE ARE CALLED TO DO (Our Mission)
We are called to make a difference for Christ by transforming church and community - one life at a time.
OUR VISION
We feed our neighbors. It is no coincidence we are located in "Feeding Hills." Our congregation has a heart for food ministries. We prepare a monthly meal and serve it at the Samaritan Inn homeless shelter in Westfield. We collect donations for the Parish Cupboard and for St.Andrews Gleaning. We are open to ideas anyone may have that would help to address the problem of hunger in our local communities and the world.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
United Methodists share a common heritage with all Christians. According to our foundational statement of beliefs, we share the following basic affirmations:
We believe that God is the creator of the universe and giver of all that is good. God is the Savior—known intimately in Jesus and his life, death, and resurrection—who shows us how to live and love.
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, who opens our eyes to a world of mystery, miracle, and meaning.
We believe that God’s Holy Spirit calls us to live out and proclaim the message of Jesus with compassion, creativity, and boldness.
We believe that, as the Church, we are called to heal a broken and hurting world, and to be a place where justice is proclaimed and lives are transformed.
